Board of directors

eeeTATYANA KOMAROVA - Executive Director, Program Designer.

Tatyana is an Executive Director and a founder of the International Talent Academy.  She holds a Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Theater and Music Education and a Master’s degree (MA) in Executive Development for Public Services from Ball State University.  Tatyana has extensive 18-year international experience in education working as a music teacher, theater director, and a manager of extra-curricular activities and special events.  While working in Russia, she developed and implemented educational programs for local teachers and college students for which has been honored with a number of awards from the School district and the City Government.

For the past several years she has conducted her own research on early brain development and developed a number of programs for the preschool/school-age children, and parents/educators.  These programs were successfully realized at the International School of Indiana, the New American School in Indianapolis, IUPUI, and Gorin’s Piano Studio in Carmel, IN.

In 2006, she established the ITA as a non for profit organization and introduced it to the City of Carmel.  Currently, she is working on the ITA's programs that are now taught at the Carmel Monon Center and other locations, as well as teaching piano and theory lessons at the Gorin's Piano Studio.  At the same time, she develops educational programs for infants and toddlers, which she plans to implement in the near future.  It is in her priorities to continue education in order to gain the most current information within the field of early child development, so that she can contribute to her work more successfully.

Tatyana is a member of the Carmel Rotary club and the Chamber of Commerce, and is actively involved in community events.  Along with her music and theater programs,  she teaches Russian language, music and logic classes to Russian-speaking children.  Twice a year she produces plays and organizes special events and celebrations for the Russian community.  It is Tatyana’s present goal to enrich her talents as an educator and administrator, continuing to work with children and adults in a successful partnership.  Tatyana is dedicated to the idea of the International Talent Academy and will bring it to the successful outcome.
