MUSICAL MATH

Math and music have always been considered closely connected in many ways. Research shows that starting music lessons at a young age enhances math ability. Musical Math is a unique program which integrates music into the math curriculum while teaching note values and fractions, decimals and multiplication, division and subtraction, and much more! The program will help both music and math students to better understand music/math theory & learn different math concepts in a fun and creative atmosphere. One theory is that music strengthens the neural chords that transmit information between the two hemispheres of the brains.
